"Earthly Praxis" Curator's Tour

Join exhibition curator Marie-Nour Héchaimé for a tour of Earthly Praxis in the presence of participating artist Ahmad Ghossein.

Ghossein will talk about the research and practice that informed his works The Last Cartographer of the Republic and Draft Zero, giving insights into their process and production, and more generally how territory can be known, imagined, and mythologized.

Ahmad Ghossein is a filmmaker and an artist. His practice utilizes several media, including video art, installation, art in public spaces, and film. His work stems from the collecting and analyzing of facts, documents, and found footage, and draws on the potentialities of the moving image. He is interested in the connection between individual human experiences and shared historical and political realities.
