Karina El Helou, Director
Karina has an M.A. in Art History from the Sorbonne University in Paris. She worked as a collection manager for the President of the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art in Paris and as a tutor at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. In 2015, she founded the non-profit curatorial platform Studiocur/art, Paris. The platform’s major projects include The Silent Echo at Baalbek Museum under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Cycles of Collapsing Progress, produced in collaboration with the Beirut Museum of Art (BeMA) at the Rashid Karami International Fair and the citadel of Tripoli.

Marie-Nour Hechaime, Contemporary Art Curator
Marie-Nour has an M.A. in Cultural and Creative Industries from King’s College London. Previously, she worked as a program coordinator at Mophradat (Brussels) and Ashkal Alwan (Beirut). She is a board member of Arts Collaboratory, a self-organized, horizontal ecosystem of 25 socially engaged arts institutions. At the Sursock Museum, Marie-Nour is in charge of the public program and the exhibitions of the Twin Galleries.

Rowina Bou-Harb, Head of Archives
Rowina specialized in photography and musicology at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK). She was previously the archivist and media officer at Hiba Al Kawas International Inc., as well as the library manager at Espace SD. At the Sursock Museum, Rowina provides research assistance and access to archival materials to the public and is responsible for the digitization of the Museum’s archives.
