On Photography in Lebanon is an art book published by Kaph Books, in which forty contributors share their perspectives on photography in Lebanon, evoking its equally numerous forms of existence. Examining techniques, practices, uses, objects, images, histories, and artistic approaches, this publication presents 380 photographs produced between the end of the 19th century and the present day.
To mark the launch of On Photography in Lebanon, there will be a 30-minute presentation of the book by Clémence Cottard Hachem at 18:00, followed by the book signing at the Sursock Museum Store.
The publication will be available for purchase at the Sursock Museum Store, in English or French.
Clémence Cottard Hachem is Co-director and Head of Collections at the Arab Image Foundation in Beirut.
