Join us for a performance by guitarist Rawad Abi Zeid. He will be presented by his professor from the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music, Edy Dorlian.
This concert is part of an ongoing series of classical music performances by emerging musicians organized by Mozart Chahine.

Rawad Abi Zeid (b. 1997) is a student at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music under the professor Edy Dorlian, he received his first diploma with distinction in June 2017. He graduated from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in June 2018 with a B.A. in Business Administration. In 2012, he won the first prize of the classical guitar competition organized by the « Leaders Lions Club » of Tripoli. In June 2014, he performed Antonio Vivaldi’s guitar concerto with the Jeunesse Musicale Orchestra conducted by Mr. Paul Safa. In July 2014, he participated at the Young Talents Concert organized by Mrs. Lama Salam at the Grand Serail in Beirut. During 2015 and 2016, he took part of the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music’s guitar quintet, which gave concerts in various locations across Lebanon including, among others, the University of Balamand and Downtown Beirut. In December 2016, he took part in the Pleven Guitar Festival international competition that took place in Bulgaria. Within the framework of the activities of the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music and the « Lundi des Franciscaines », Abi Zeid gave multiple solo guitar concerts, the program of which consisted of music ranging from the Baroque to the contemporary era.
