We are thrilled to announce that the Sursock Museum reopened its doors to welcome you on Friday 26 May at 7:30 pm!
During almost three years of forced closure, the Museum had to undergo a series of reparations and rehabilitations to be functional again after the Beirut Port explosion.
We are extremely grateful to the partners for the rehabilitation works: International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH), the French Ministry of Culture, Agenzia Italiana Per la Cooperazione Allo Sviluppo (AICS) with UNESCO-Li Beirut, and the in-kind donors Saint-Gobain and Saint-Just Verrerie, as well as, the many individual donors and in-kind supporters who have made the reopening of the Sursock Museum possible.
The Sursock Museum reopens with five exhibitions:
- Je suis inculte !
The Salon d’Automne and the National Canon
