MUSEUM REOPENING HIGHLIGHTS
Part of the museum’s core mission is to preserve the modern art collection, therefore we decided to give the opportunity to our public to rediscover our iconic works from our collection through a 3D mapping projection. Along with the music concert by Yara Asmar, the Christmas market promises as well to offer a unique selection of designers.
SCHEDULE
5PM 3D Mapping
Our collection will come to life and light up the museum’s façade in a special projection.
6PM - 7PM Guided Tours
Re-explore the museum’s permanent collection and the “Beyond Ruptures” exhibition through a guided tour. Please RSVP with exact number of participants by sending an email to [email protected].
8PM Live Music
Enjoy an intimate concert by Yara Asmar, held at the Esplanade.
Acclaimed Lebanese multi-instrumentalist, video artist, and puppeteer - Yara’s beautifully melodic works contain recognizable elements of classical music wrapped in layers of tape hiss, synth wash, reverb, and delay; disturbed by the metallic percussive sounds of the dissembled music boxes. The atmosphere of melancholy that pervades the album, Yara laments, should be familiar to anyone living in the 21st century.
Food & Beverage
Coffee offered by Café Najjar, Wine tasting with Marsyas, Drinks from Kassatly Chtaura, and Nibbles by Krikita.
In celebration of the festive season, the Museum Store will host a Christmas Market, inviting you to discover unique gifts, artisanal designs, and delicious seasonal offerings. We also thank Exotica for its support.
