A day program featuring a guided tour, film screenings, and a panel discussion in collaboration with The Modern Heritage Observatory (MoHO), in honor of International Archives Week initiated by the International Council Archives.

Guided tour of the exhibition Beyond Ruptures, A Tentative Chronology with the museum's Head of Archives Rowina Bou Harb.

 

13:00 to 14:00

Film screening: four documentary films based on archival practices, followed by a discussion panel and Q&A. Panelists: Gregory Buchakjian, Valerie Cachard, Hady Zaccak, and Georges Arbid.

The Modern Heritage Observatory (MoHO) is a network of cultural heritage actors which aims to advocate for the preservation of modern cultural heritage, with emphasis on architecture, photography, music, and film. Funded by the European Union and the Heinrich Böll Foundation in 2011, the initiative sought to raise awareness of the urgent need to increase the commitment towards the preservation of modern cultural heritage among political and institutional sectors and the public in Lebanon and the MENA region.
